Has anyone else had problems with coupons in Tesco this week? When I tried to use the GQ and Red magazine ones, they were refused. The SA did scan them but the till just bleeped and he said he couldn't put them through. I'm sure they stock these magazines, so why would this have happened?

I used 3 each of the Daily Mail GQ, Marie Claire and Red coupons yesterday [3 shops] with no problem.

I actually bought the Red mag (It comes with a nice freebie) the other day and used the red MOC. It went through till ok. The only one that didn't scan for me was the easy living MOC - on selfscan tills. I might use it tomorrow on a normal till. The SA's usually key in the barcode manually when mag MOCs won't scan.

All the papers in my local newsagent and in tesco had the page of the T2 ripped out, I'm so annoyed, has this happened to anyone else??
Blackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.
Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?
    Blackadder: Yes it is.
    Baldrick: Hmm... that's cunning.

lf they sell the magazine ( I should think they probably do) then they will accept the coupon.

    In a word - YES.

I bought a saturday paper when there was a voucher for a freebie.....spotted it had been ripped out of my copy - luckily just before I left the store, so headed to cs desk, and got a 'full' copy in exchange.

Must admit, I don't normally take the top copy of any paper - unless its the last copy, 'cos someone has undoubtedly been routing thru' and either made a mess of the paper, or whipped things out. Most annoying.

With Times, often find whole section missing, and once got 3 travel sections in one paper - presumably someone walked out with 3 T2 sections

considering we are making a healthy mark-up on the purchase price thanks to these coupons, I call it very unsporting !!!!!
