I've not been paid!

Hi, been using this site for a while but only just signed up to the forum part today.
Ive not been paid this week, I'm weekly paid and have been on holiday for 2 weeks, I was due to receive one week of holiday pay tomorrow but I've been online to check my payslip and I'm not being paid it!
I'll get the money in a 'cash advance' but if I have Direct Debits/Standing orders etc coming out of my account tomorrow (that will now bounce) is there anything I can do to get the charges back that the banks will no doubt throw at me?
Any help welcome and thanks in advance
and hello all!

An approved overdraft is the most sensible course of action. Then you need to move the dates of your DD's to a week after you're due to be paid, to avoid this happening again. Alternatively, get some savings.
You could also contact your bank, advise them in advance and of course, ask your employer to allow you to visit the bank as soon as you have the money to pay it to your account. If it is the first time this has happened, hopefully your bank will be understanding and will waive the charges.
Doubt I'll get an overdraft, but I'll try ... I'm paid weekly so is there much point shifting the DD's as next week I'll be getting paid again?
I'll be paying the money into my account once I've got it yes - If the bank dont agree to waive charges is that the end of it? Or is the company at any point liable for the charges?0 -

Contact your payroll department first thing on Monday and ask them to check. Assuming you are correct they have a couple of options at least, cash advance on a same day transfer, or money out of petty cash that you could put in your account. If they have made a mistake then they should be more than willing to help.Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0
