When filling in this year's SA tax return, I realised I had forgotten to declare some interest earned on a building society savings account in last year's return. This interest has been taxed at source, so no tax should be owed, but it would, presumably, have had an effect on the end of form tax calculation.
I've declared the interest on this account in this year's return but I can't find anywhere I can put this previous omission right. What should I do?

If it really is not going to affect your tax liability (higher rate tax due on the interest, for example) I would not bother.
Even if HMRC were to review last years return their findings would result in no adjustments. I would be confident that you have nothing to worry about. There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who do not. :doh:0
