How many searches??? Halifax Mortgage Application

Wondered if someone could offer any advice.
My wife and I applied for an AIP via our mortgage adviser on 15th January. On this date, Halifax did an ID search on our credit reports and Bank of Scotland did 2 Mortgage Quotation searches. The AIP was approved.
Our mortgage adviser then proceeded to submit our full application on 21st January and Halifax instantly asked for the valuation fee and the valuation has been booked. On checking my credit report today, there were 3 further Mortgage Quotation searches from Bank of Scotland and an unrecorded search from Halifax.
The Halifax search has an amount on equal to the AIP we received but the actual mortgage application is for a lower amount.
I'm amazed at how many searches have taken place for a single application but based on the above, is it safe to assume that we've passed the credit checks?

Wonder why they do so many searches.0

Be fine, they are also all soft searches when I completed via them not 1 turned into a full searchDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Thanks, so is it likely that I will still have to go through another credit check?0

Yes, we had another one on the date the offer was issued, also a soft search for the mortgage amount (unrecorded enquiry), then they pulled it back for a glitch ?
Re issued on the 4th of Jan (another unrecorded search for the amount)... then for some unknown reason they issued another one on the 7th of Jan... and another unrecorded search for the amount... i know have 3x hard copy's (all the same).
It seems that every time something changes, or they hit a button, it triggers an auto unrecorded search ?
Dont know if another one will be done when they are asked for the funds yet, will find that out next month hopefully !
This was all viewed on experian btw.0 -
Unrecorded and quotation searches do not count, so don't worry about it. Only you can see them, not the lenders.0
