I've noticed recently that when I "like" a facebook page, there is a new "follow" button which is automatically ticked. Does anyone know if you have to tick this too to be eligible for competitions? I've been unticking it but think I may be disqualifying myself!
Thank you to everyone who posts these competitions. You are all stars :T

Never noticed it, but it says this in FB helpWhen you follow someone, you see their posts in your News Feed. You automatically follow people that you're friends with
if you are not following presumably you will not get winner announcements from the pages in your News Feed.0 -
Mine disappeared a couple of weeks ago, as did some friends'!Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0

I unfollow most pages because I don't want my newsfeed cluttered with posts I'm not interested in. I just wonder whether the company know you have selected to unfollow them?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

If this applies to a company as well then yes (their settings would almost certainly be to allow everybody to follow them)If you’ve allowed Everybody to follow you, you can see who follows your posts by clicking the number next to Followed by in the About box on your Timeline0 -
Still confused - my little pink fluffy brain cannot absorb such complicated info
I need a latte and a jammy dodger to feed it! Then re-read and evaluate!
