I've been comping seriously for about 18 months, prior to that I always "entered competitions" from eg. magazines, newsletters etc but never won anything before comping from here.


Per day - it varies. I do the mag dailies (see below) which can be between 80-200 per day depending on what's on offer but if we're just talking about proper comps off the main board, anything from 50 to 150 a day, again depending on what's on offer. I only enter for prizes I would really like.


I've had a few good wins but my two best were an iPad mini, and a surprise hamper chock-full of Palmers toiletries with a £200 Red Letter Day voucher stuffed at the bottom!


Yes I do the mags, see above. In the 15 months or so I've been doing them, I've only won twice - a £100 Monsoon voucher, and a picnic hamper. Not a very good return, but I am so addicted to them I couldn't NOT do them!


I'm not on Twitter so don't use that at all. Facebook has been extremely UN-lucky for me, the only wins I've ever had from it are small instants like makeup, sweets etc. But still I plod on!


Anything else - yes, I'm getting fed up with my bad dry spell and am praying that the comping fairy soon remembers who I am!!!

I love comping but i could really do with a decent win to justify to my other half why i spend so much time doing them lol

Haha this! Actually, I've been really lucky in that my partner is a musician and pretty much all my wins have been concert tickets etc so I think she puts up with my addiction

LOL Lucky you! I could do with a sport type win or some mens clothes or watch that would keep him happy or even better another laptop and then he's not moaning to use mine! lol xx

How long have you been comping? years and years!!!

How many do you enter a day? some of the dailies plus about 50 that I want to enter up to 100 if I'm in time to do the twitter ones.

What has been you best best win? overnight stay at Ragdale Hall for 2 won in advent, or all my garden furniture many moons ago.

Do you do the daily mags? If so have you ever won on them? Sometimes, but I've only won once and it wasn't a big prize

Are twitter and/or Facebook lucky for you? twitter no! Facebook slightly, but I don't like or share so don't do many.

lol well I've decided today i'm giving up cleaning it's dangerous! I mopped the kitchen floor forgot walked in the kitchen to make a baby bottle up and went flying and fell on one knee, which really hurt and hit my shin too! good excuse put my feet up for the rest of the day i suppose though, although you can see which way my luck is at the moment!

Don't do FB comps as I don't want to spam my friends. Do most of the Twitter ones but again, never won a sniff
