Would this be to house plastic wood imitation hens ? :D

Seriously though, I haven't seen anywhere but have you considered making one ? A couple of weeks ago I was finally nagged into replacing what was left of the crumbling rendering over our crumbling bay windpw. I used mahoghany UPVC cladding and it worked out at about 23 quid (inc. vat) for a 5 metre length 1 foot wide.
It cuts with a woodsaw, clips together along the edges and could be nailed onto a wooden frame. Obviously the number of lengths required would be dependant upon the size and style of your design.

Oh no! Today the chickens discovered the ripening tomatoes...... we have had to put an emergency fence around them (the tomatoes, not the chickens) with some netting I found in the barn - not sure how well it will hold.

As for the plastic hen house - why not give it a try? My DH has been looking into plastic beehives lately, and has already bought several plastic beehive floors........ it seems a bit of a trend at the moment. That said, it's not necessarily cheap, so the question is will the investment really pay off in diminished maintenance in the long run?

I have seen something similar http://www.chicubes.co.uk/Chicken/Bird-Houses/Wooden-Chicube-Chicken-Houses/Chicubes-39-Medium-Wooden-Chicken-House-with-Pitched-Roof/prod_39.html - So might go with a nice hen house I like that is wooden and then pvc the inside for easy cleaning and keeping the mites at bay!

Ok I have another stupid question! Can you keep chickens of different varieties together or should you always have at least 2 of 1 variety. Eg: 4 all different. Is that ok?

First off, can you separate them for a while? If not try Johnson's anti-peck spray. Violet spray is another option as it disguises the redness associated with pecking (it's the redness of irritated skin which makes chickens and ducks peck).

You certainly can. I have two gold stars and a black rock happily living together. They only thing I would be wary with is having large fowl and bantams together as the bigger birds usually bully the smaller ones.

Thanks guys, i have seperated her, i put in the 2 chicks, older chick started pecking her bum, so she is now on her own, with a woolly fluffy thing to sleep on, and is eating her food and drinking, thank you.
