I was scheduled for a telephone interview with the OR, but they've contacted me and changed it to a face to face...has this happened to anyone else? All of a sudden I feel anxious again...

Hi
I just posted on your thread about this. I need to provide 12 months...I am also dreading it - it's a face to face...
I was feeling quite positive until now, now I feel dread. I know it was the only thing to do and not sure how bad it can be but I am really nervous. I know just how you feel - chin up to us both xx0 -
Can i give you my email address or something and stay in touch? Feel quite alone in this.
I will let you know how tomorrow goes for me

Hi nervousandready often the OR changes to a FF interview if you have/had a business or a BRO/BRU has been suggested. Please don't be frightened, your discharge from BR is still 12 months.
A bankruptcy restrictions order means you are not allowed to:- apply for credit of £500 or more without telling the lender about the order;
- continue to run a business in a different name from the one in which you were made bankrupt, without telling those you want to do business with the name under which you were made bankrupt;
- become an MP or local councillor;
- be a director of a limited company or form a new limited company without permission; or
- be an insolvency practitioner.

We don't normally suggest exchanging emails, you can of course PM each other here for more support :beer:"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

I was s/e and I wonder if maybe (just in relation to paperwork etc) it is just quicker and easier to do a face to face.
It certainly doesn't mean that you're in trouble at all.AD March 2014

I wouldn't worry about the OR interview, I mean the hard part was facing your debts and going to court for the BR.....this is now an admin day and after this it will start to look better.
Think of it as the last day of dealing with your past.
I had a business and they went back 5 years into the business accounts (even accounts that had been closed), it was a tough couple of hours but if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about.
Remember they are just people like you and me and they probably have the same amount of debts aswell.
