Ice Cream recipe that includes gelatine???

Many many years ago (around 1970) my Mum used to make ice cream with gelatine

She says it was a simple recipe and very very tasty. She has tried a few ice cream recipes lately but she says they are all vile! She found a website on the back of a gelatine packet, but there were no recipes on there.

I've done a google on gelatine and ice cream trying to find archived recipes, but I was wondering if anyone on here had a good old fashioned recipe (something that doesn't include butter milk as she said that was expensive and not very nice)
