Kleeneze?

Hi all,

Just had a chat with a rep from Kleeneze and I have to say it all seems to fit what I have been looking for to earn a few extra ££ per month.. It kinda all sounds too good to be true  !

Does anyone have any experience of working for/about this company? I am Just needing to find out whether it is worth the start up cost of £125

Thanks in advance,

Sarah xx

I did a bit of Kleeneze some years ago. As I recall there were basically 2 ways to achieve an income, number one was to post the catalogues through letterboxes, come back to collect them a few days later (and hopefully some orders) and then deliver the orders once they stock had been delivered to you.
The second way was to recruit a team and build this team (network marketing) so you receive a commission on all your teams sales.

The company itself has been around for ever and I believe it has a good reputation. Most people go for the first way of earning money as it's a straightforward numbers game - the more catalogues you put out the more you will earn, however there are a few points worth noting:
    1. How many other agents are working the same area? Obviously if houses get visited by other agents frequently your sales are going to be lower than on areas where there are no other agents.
    2. You will lose catalogues - they will be eaten by dogs, ruined by the weather or some people just throw them away, factor these costs into your profit forecasts.
    3. Keep notes of who bought stuff from you and who threw away your catalogues and therefore start to build a picture of who is hot and who is not :)
    4. Most people who do these rounds target terraces as they are very quick and easy to distribute your catalogues. Sometimes it may be worth trying areas which are a bit harder to drop the catalogues to but may bear good sales results.

    Good luck :D

I'd heard they had gone out of business as they were associated with farepack fiasco. Could have the wrong company but I haven't seen my kleeneze rep in 4 months

no they still visit me, ive got one now!!
But if its anything like avon, you need to sell abt £500 to make abt £100, then you have to pay for new booklets!! I did avon for a year, it was useful at the time!!

£125 gets you all that you need to start, plus 200 catalogues, which are normally £30 for 50 cats. And you can use the catalogues for a while as they product lines are changed about every 6 months, in the mean time it is only the front cover that changes, I am still running with the ones I bought in January, I just update them with any specials that come out.

The parent company that owned Kleeneze also owned Farepak, after the collapse of Farepak, Kleeneze was bought by Findel (who own Studio Cards, Ace Cards and Gifts etc). All the operations are being brought up to Accrington, where Findel's head office is. They are also investing a lot of money into the Kleeneze side of the business for the benefit of the distributors, it is really going from strength to strength at the moment.

They are also working with Cabouchon Jewellery, Kitbag and IWOOT.

If you need any more information then feel free to pm me. Same goes for anyone else that wants to know more.

Oh, I have been a distributor for just over 2 years.

Interesting, but for every bad story there are good ones, and the main thing to remember is that is it a business and not a job, and as such you have to be prepared to put the work in at the beginning.

My first month (which in essence was only 3 weeks), I pulled in orders of £850, My sponsor's sponser has recently become a Senior Exec Distributor and is currently getting cheques each month in the region of £4000.

Another place to look is https://www.homeworking.com
  • Thanks for all the responses, I am going to ring the rep this afternoon and tell him I am interested.. He has sent me all the promotional info etc and I understand that I'm not going to be earning megabucks over night but even if my take home is only £250 per month, it's £250 more than we have now!!!

Once again, thanks all, it's much appreciated!
