Did anyone get small orders through the letterbox?

    Or not signed for?

I ordered lots of small bits for different people, as "little acts of random kindness"........hoping to cheer them up a bit......

    :j

But they wont be very happy if they have to take time off work to stay home and sign for things!!! ;)

Oo-er......and it seemed such a good idea at the time!

    :o

Life is like a box of chocolates - drop it and the soft centres splash everywhere
  • Thank you for the replies!!

OH's little treats arrived in boxes, very well wrapped and so quick to deliver.....and I was home to sign for them, so no problem.

As for the other friends and family I sent them to.....

I am keeping a low profile and will deny it all :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Even my small order was packed in a square box and needed to be signed for! Great service though!

  • Thank you OP I ordered 2 packs of 70% dark choc penguins and 2 packs of 70% dark choc and chilli penguins (trying to be healthy lol) the lovely box arrived this morning and cheered me up whilst I was doing the ironing but when I opened the box there was only 1 pack of each :( I emailed them and got a lovely email strait back appoligising and saying the missing items will arrive tomorrow along with a free white chocolate slab!
  • Just wanted to say thanks OP and to Hotel Chocolate. A large well packed box with a couple of little goodies for one dd and the Signature christmas collection for part of dd two's birthday. The signature collection is beautifully packaged and does not look christmasy so I have ordered another box to keep towards my mum's mothers day present. Very pleased as I usually buy these chocs the goody bags for teachers etc and always am told how nice they are! Just waiting to be given some myself!

Just be warned, although the packaging may not look Christmassy some of the chocs may- I bought the large double layer box and some are shaped as Christmas trees etc. The box itself doesn't look Christmassy though!

I bought them for me as a treat so doesn't bother me, and I haven't had one yet- I'm delaying the gratification :)

Very happy, I ordered some bits as gifts and thank you's (and a little something for me for being so good) and it all arrived the very next day. Well impressed. Nicely packed and delish.
