Does it matter where you live?

Newbie so be kind with me

I've just had an email from little darlings magazine saying I've won a LeapPad ultra was super excited to tell my little boy then had a panic thinking does it matter that I live in wolverhampton and this is a magazine for London moms?

Depends on the terms and conditions, some limit the postcode areas you can enter from or the prizes are collect only - posts on here will usually point out any restrictions like that.

Unless there were conditions just for that competition there shouldn't be a problem - their general competition T&C's

In order to make a valid entry into a Competition you must be a resident of the United Kingdom or Isle of Man.

I won a competition from Dave Lackie on twitter and he is Canada and he sent the goodies (worth over £300) by courier and it was with me in 18hrs - better than most in England. I have to say that I have seen some people say on some comps - oh its a southerner won again - lol does it matter - we are all compers lol. Good luck I do hope it isnt local to the company!! What a great win for you and your son

Only thing to bear in mind other than what it says in Ts and Cs is that international comps, if the prizes are sent from abroad, can generate duty / VAT liabilities.
