Nearly there! I remember my AD day and it felt like a weight off my shoulder. 18 months later I got a Vanquis card and two years later I got an Aqua card (small balance paid off in full every month). Now just six months of my IPA left too!

Take care and good luck with life post-discharge - it really is the beginning of your new life!

Okay I'm now discharged and the IS website says I'm discharged already :)

Although I can't say I feel the sense of relief I thought I would.

But needless to say you guys are fantastic. A real credit to this board.

    Congrats!
If you have a fairly messy credit file (like I did) then I would recommend either:
    1. Printing a copy of the discharge information (I didn't so had to resort to:)
    2. Getting a discharge certificate from the court (some charge involved)

These were an absolute god send (together with a copy of my original bankruptcy order from the court) at being able to send each of my creditors and getting them to amend the default dates etc.

Just wish Santander would do their stuff and amend the last rogue entry on my credit file.

Only t-87 days until my bankruptcy drops of my credit file (and all of the defaults!)

Well done and congrats. I'm sure the sense of relief will kick in belatedly :-)
