16th December I won a competition on Twitter for £1000 worth of DVD’s and Blu-ray with @sofeminine. (not sure how the top 40 DVD's and Blu-ray films amounted to £1000 but was going to give them the benifit of the doubt) It is now the 21st of January and I’m still waiting for the delivery of these goods. I have messaged them twice now and had no response. I don't know what to do now as usually with Twitter comps if I haven’t received them within 4 weeks i let it go as last year I had 3 other small twitter wins that never materialised. The problem I have is I’ve promised some of these to my daughter’s school club for film nights and to other family members as well as friends. It is a big comp win not to receive and I’m going to end up out of pocket as I’m going to have to buy them myself for school at least.
What can I do please help!!
This is quite disheartening as i love twitter and win regularly on it, but lately it would seem more and more companies are false advertising competitions for followers with no intentions on delivering the goods. There were a couple just before Christmas. One was giving away an Ipad and the winner of the said Ipad had only tweeted that one comp tweet that very morning the comp closed, the comp had been running for weeks it was dodgy as they hadn’t tweeted in nearly 18 months yet choose to tweet on that morning, the winner had only ever done 7 tweets and had 7 followers and followed 6 themselves so unless they knew about the comp they would not have seen a tweet for that competition. Just been to look and surprise surprise, they have not tweeted after the win either, if I had won an Ipad Air I would have tweeted like crazy for other comps!! Anyway sorry about the rambling!

I won a prize from them ages ago (£150 Harvey Nichs Vouchers) and they took ages to arrive and i had to chase them up too.
Hope you get your prize soon!0 -
Speaking from experience if you only count wins (and tell other people) when you have the goods or the cheque has cleared there is no one to keep asking if the prize has arrived yet.
They were off FB for over a week at Christmas so just making allowance for that they are only just reaching 4 weeks since you won.0
