I know exactly how you feel hon. I have had a really dry spell for about the past six weeks winning only the two small things that are in my signature (one of which hasn't even arrived yet so will probably be crap!)
I get upwards of 100 emails a day so am constantly looking through them for a WEM but there's nothing doing. I was already feeling down about the lack of success in the advents (having thrown myself into them and won just a crappy mug and pen) but had hoped for a lucky spell in January instead - ha ha ha (bitter laugh).
I'm getting to the point when I am starting to hate looking on IWIWIW - normally I find it inspirational but I'm just feeling more and more fed up seeing that everyone else seems to be winning and not me!!!


the great thing about comping though is that you seriously never know what's round the corner, it's all about the anticipation that you MAY get a surprise delivery, you MAY get a great WEM or WTC, you just don't know what tomorrow will bring! That's the only thing that spurs me on!

I'm new to comping, this is my 3rd week doing them, and This is my way of thinking., say that Joe blogs wins a comp you've entered, you'll probably be disappointed but if Joe blogs hadn't entered, he wouldn't have won. So why couldn't it be you who wins?? He was just lucky and just goes to show you really have to be in it to win it. There may over 500 retweets, rafflecopter entries or Facebook likes, but someone has to be chosen. The odds are stacked up but it could happen. I'm still waiting for it to happen to me!

I came back to comping after a break mid-December and have been lucky enough to win two small things on twitter...my comment on this is has anyone noticed it even seems quiet on the IWIWIW board?

it is quiet on the IWIWIW.....unless newcomers are winning and not bothering to thank/announce their wins. I am convinced that loads more people have taken up the hobby recently.....thats what I keep telling myself anyway! I can feel an ITV win just around the corner

New to comping. Started in beginning December seriously and had 1 win so far.

Keeps me going is hoping that the postman will knock 1 morning or if a delivery van parks near the house that feeling of excitement that it may be for me.

Hoping we all get a win soon
