Round up your money in your bank account

We all try to save money different ways, I have a change tin and 50p tin at home, that gave me an idea... round up my debit card payments to the next £1 and any incoming money to the account take off any loose change.

I have online banking for main current account, so have opened an online saving account and went through bank statement - since 1st Jan - have saved £5.22, whether you want to move the money each time you have a spend or at the end of the month - and I can update the post no 2 with your name and amount saved at the end of the month...

If anyone wants to join just shout... and save away.

  • yep love this idea and working on an app that will allow you to round up your debit/credit card spends, and that roundup goes towards items or services you've preselected. Watch this space...
