God, this was driving me mad with my two girls' duvets. I thought it was because they were cheap duvets. Bought new ones and problem is still there.

Might do the nappy pin thing. That's safe enough, right?

My duvet covers are fine with the big, fat winter weight duvets. It's the summer weight ones which slip, as they don't fill the cover.

    I hate the wrinkly cover.

Interesting thread ds wiggles about so much in the night his duvet is always sliding down meaning he gets cold :( I might try nappy pins but like someone said above are they safe enough to leave with a child unattended? I can image my ds trying to undo them  I might look into other options first.
  • I too have this problem if hubby is left alone with the duvet, and as another poster here has already suggested, I now (since a couple of months ago) use the button and loop method, which seems to have solved the problem. Ours is also feather, and Superking, as with others who have had problems.

My DS is 6, and DD is 3 and I use the nappy pins. They've never tried to undo them, I think they don't realise its there since I put them on the underside so they're not in view. Or it may that they have seen them since they born, they don't realise it's an extraneous part that can be removed
You'll have to speak up; I'm wearing a towel
