I have learned loads from comping - especially when the same questions crop up regularly as the answers stick in my fluffy pink mind! I joined in with a pub quiz a few months back and probably wouldn't have known half the answers if it hadn't been for me entering comps!

That Next's head office is in Enderby, Leicester (and as it is a daily mag answer, I have entered it so many times, I don't think I will every forget).

Not sure it is quite dinner party conversation though...

Thanks to the incredibly long run of the last lot of mag dailies (up to 2 months in some cases!), I'm in no danger of ever forgetting that Tim Berners-Lee invented the WWW, that Tesco have a collection called Check You Out, that Peppa Pig had a brother called George, that Katy Perry voiced Smurfette, or that there are 5 members of One Direction - amongst a whole line of other useless facts!! By the 17th January, I knew without even looking, what order each question would come in - never been so pleased to see the end of some competitions!!
