Hi all
I have a couple of leather belts that need shortening. Any advice on how to achieve that cheaply?
Shall I just walk into a cobbler / shoe repair shop?
Thanks in advance for any advice

If the ends are just leather & not encased in a metal frame then you could simply cut the ends yourself with a decent pair of sharp scissors or a heavy duty craft knife. If the ends are say V shaped, you could carefully mark the cutting lines using a ruler & a pencil on the reverse of the leather to ensure that you have a clean & neat cut.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

It required unstitching and re-stitching, I have had to get it to a shop.
They quoted me £6 each which I thought was a bit steep, but it might be the right price.
