It is quite a good deal but as noted by designerchick, this offer has been ongoing for ages. I can't actually remember them being on sale at their supposed usual price of £6 each. In other words, I don't think you'll have to worry about stocking up if you don't need any oil immediately. The chances are that this offer will be around for some time yet.

ASDA have 2l bottles of Crisp 'n Dry (vegetable oil) on offer for £2.
May help someone, especially those with the Bespoke ASDA vouchers.

This morning it said offer valid until 21/1/14 but I've just checked the page and now it says "valid from tomorrow". So it's on again for a while at least.

Yep, you'll find that whenever the end date is reached the offer will get renewed immediately. I reckon Tesco can get away with it because it is not actually labelled as a 'sale' only as a 'deal' or an 'offer' which I presume means there are looser regulations or none at all.

I don't think there are any regulations for anything except a "sale". There would probably be no point in making any as the supermarkets would just change the names to off, deal, rollback, price drop etc.

That is good as this is 100% rapeseed oil which is supposed to be better for frying and for us.:)
Unfortunately my nearest ASDA is >18 miles from me.
