Just as a side question (and apologies for hijacking the thread but it is similar)
If the HMRC have put a mileage adjustment on your tax code (I used a private car to travel from my office to outstations a few times a week) I should still put the full amount of travelling expenses claimed on the self-assessment, is that correct?
This is the first year that it affects me, so it is not a cse that I have over or under paid.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -

You should always put everything relevant on the tax return.The only thing that is constant is change.0
