  • Bronzer duos have gone up in price overnight - they are now £12.
I asked a SA to scan 2 x duos plus a hot cloth cleanser and the total came to £18. She was surprised but said Boots never tell them anything anyway so she wasn't aware that the 342 and BOGOHP was working on both. She did tell me that I couldn't use both glossies so I pretended I'd forgotten to bring them anyway so could I just leave it for today.

I'll try at a SS till on Friday on my day off. That'll be 3 items for £10 thank you very much if both glossies work.

Does anyone know if we can still use the vouchers on suncream? Last time it was refused by them, but wondering if i did self service i would be able to use them?
    Thanks :)

Looking at the back of a £5 voucher it says it CAN be used on sun & self tan.

I remember last summer just before the vouchers expired the sun stuff was on BOGOF and £5 off with the voucher meaning it was possible to get 2 items for less than a fiver.

Hi, and thank you for this. I managed to get
    Bronzing pearls £9.95
    Bronzing palette (duo) £12
No 7 day cream £12 (approx)

Also bought some sale items so difficult to be exact but the above three cost me £11.?? Just handed both glossies over and sales person applied them. Fab!

Do the bb creams and tinted moisturisers still fit into both offers (including buy one get one half price)?

    Today I bought:

    BB cream £13.50
    BB cream £6.75 BOGOHP
Night cream oily skin £13.50 now free on 342

    Balance to pay £20.25

The £3 voucher scanned okay but then the SA (a lovely man) had to put the £5 voucher through manually as it wouldn't scan. I then went back 4 times to his till as he was quite happy to manually input my £5 voucher (very helpful).

I've worked out that if your skincare item costs the same as or less than the make up items the £5 voucher won't scan because the skincare item is free.

On transactions where the skincare item was more expensive than the make up eg:

Bronzer Duo £12 free on 342
    Bronzer Duo £6 BOGOHP
    Day cream oily skin £12.50

    Balance to pay £18.50

Both vouchers scanned okay leaving £10.50 to pay.

So if you are using SS tills make sure your skincare item is the most expensive of the 3 and both your vouchers should scan.
  • BB cream, bronzing pearls & bronzer duo are definitely glitching. I haven't tried tinted moisturiser or bronzer mosaic palette.
  • Not very exciting but I got a coupon for £2 off a mascara or lipstick from the ACM and used it on a colour lash mascara which was £1.99 so got it for free.

I went in yesterday and tried this with the tinted moisturiser - didn't work for me :(
I had 2x tinted moisturiser, 1x No. 7 for men energising moisturiser (£14.50). Both glossies were accepted and the BOGOHP worked on the tinted moisturiser, but no 3 for 2 :( ended up paying about £24 which I guess is still technically a good deal, but it didn't feel like it!
Have they found the glitch and corrected it? The No. 7 SA said the men's stuff was on 3 for 2 and would work with the £5 voucher, so it must be the tinted moisturisers that didn't work, right?

Just debating now whether I really need the tinted moisturiser, even if it did come to about £7 each rather than £12. Still seems expensive to me, so I might return it. Couldn't deal with trying to cancel the transaction at the time because it was a SS till and OH can't face the inevitable chaos it would have caused!

Quite disappointed - usually the Boots vouchers mean such great deals!

Looking at the Boots website the tinted moisturiser is not coming up in the 342 offers so is probably just BOGOHP.
