APCOA Parking Charge Notice

I have just received a Parking charge notice from APCOA PARKING with the title
PARKING CHARGE NOTICE
London Luton Airport,
It Starts
Notice is hereby served to the registered keeper of vehicle registration mark ******* For the alleged contravention of O2-Dropping off / Picking up outside of a designated parking area.
It has been sent within the 14 days limit, should the driver or registered owner pay or fight?
As the vehicle did stop but then carried on after the driver realised they were not allowed to stop in that area.
I hope someone can help.

Oh the irony of it all! Here is proof that the signage is inadequate, and in order to read and digest the alleged contract you are entering into, you have to breach it.

APCOA are evil, predatory, no good, greedy scum who deserve absolutely nothing on this earth. They should ideally be shot through the head (metaphorically speaking), but failing that, cost them money by appealing then winning an appeal at POPLA.

Why don't you just read the sticky thread linked, and if you like, also read similar threads first by searching this forum for 'APCOA' or 'Airport'. There are HUNDREDS of threads about this place and other Airports, many showing their winning POPLA wording from recent weeks. Easy to win at POPLA as long as the registered keeper is the appellant (not saying who was driving).

  • Sorry for such a delayed response,
I wrote a letter based on the information I'd seen above and through the links and the ticket was canceled within a month!
Thank you for all your help!
