I'm an avid Yankee Candle fan & have had a request from a friend asking which candle would I recommend for an anniversary gift.
I know a fair bit about all the Yankee scents but there are soooo many fragrances to choose from, so is quite a difficult one for me!
Her msg to me was:
"My very good friend is celebrating her silver wedding in June and her hubby is the most unromantic person i know.
I want to get her a large candle and wrap it with silver tissue paper and ribbon and finish it off with a balloon for her...not him lol.
Ideas needed please for scent of candle it will need to be a large one, she was here cutting my hair and she was sniffing mine lol"
Any ideas anyone? I would end up buying the whole shop if it were me lol. :rotfl:
Many thanks in advance!

My favourite is the baby talc one.....though obviously if they are childless not through choice this may be not the one to get.
I find others are too overpowering and aren't in general a fan of Yankee candles2014 Target;

Great idea. A large jar wrapped in silver tissue would be great or alternatively one of the silver accessories/pots with the smaller candles would be nice too.
Must say I do like the simplicity of the large jar and tissue.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
or what about the Happy Anniversary tumbler?
Yankee direct.co .uk search anniversary (sorry, can't post links as I'm still new) £7.99 and £9.99 for small/regular0 -
Than you all for taking the time to reply.
I was kind of thinking about the Wedding Day one & the Anniversary tumbler.
There's so many fragrances to choose from, but everyone has their own favourites. I'm partial to the fruit ones!
I think the ones suggested seem to fit the bill as they are the special occasion candles.0
