I do like mine, it's a handy little thing for a quick run round. I find that with 3 of us in the house with long hair it is a bit of a pain because the hair just wraps itself around the brushes rather than gets sucked up. The only way I can untangle it all is to get the scissors out and cut it. I don't have this faff with the big machine so I tend to use the airram for light jobs.

Useful to know...the dyson brush that stops long hairs tangling on the brush is a god send here

Direct , they are £229, but include a spare battery which is worth £60. Mine cost £190, direct and with a spare battery, but that was an offer for existing customers (bought a spare battery for our old GTech carpet sweeper).

I like mine, as it's very easy (pulls itself along) on my bad back, but wouldn't have it as a sole cleaner. Having dogs, the upright Hoover is needed for a deep carpet beat and I have a small Panasonic cylinder cleaner for stairs. (We had the Hoover and Panasonic already, when the Air Ram was bought).

My AirRam did go wrong: it started making grinding noises. However, under the 5 year warranty they collected next day and returned it repaired within a couple of days. During the repair, the cover on the dustpan was scratched, but complaint brought a next day courier replacement of the cover and dustpan .

  • Thanks so much for posting the discount code. We bought an Airram yesterday from Argos for the usual price of £199. Glad we've not actually used it so its going back for a refund today.

But with the discount code we can get it with an extra battery for £215.10 direct from GTECH and with cashback from Quidco its almost the same price!

    Cheers!

How do you do stairs with it? I would like one of these.
  • We had this discussion yesterday at our house. I think that's where the GTECH Multi comes in. Although we decided against getting one of those as well.
  • Does anyone have a current Gtech offer code possible to use in addition to quidco please?
Think these sound a good product looking at reviews.
