Anyone else had problems with Expert Logistics when getting delivery of a win?

I won a beko dishwasher via at Home Magazine and was meant to be getting delivery of the dishwasher today via Expert Logistics.

I had given my address to the promo company (who aren't open today) and I had to call Expert Logistics to arrange delivery.

On calling Expert I had to confirm my address before I could book in the day. The only day I am at home is a Saturday and that was the day they set (i.e today). They were happy with the address I confirmed, booked it in...fast forward to today.

I missed a phone call from the delivery driver and phoned him back within in 20 minutes. He told me a completely made up address which was a hybrid of my name and a nearby road, and had the wrong postcode. He insisted he was now too far away to deliver and I had obviously got my address wrong and would have to call the delivery company- Expert Logistics.

On calling them they are adament I have provided the wrong address despite the address they have not even existing and me having to confirm the address with them prior to even being able to book the delivery day. Their response was that they will 'get the ball rolling and contact beko to try and sort another delivery but that I have given them the wrong address'. They then tried to blame the promotional company!!

My husband phoned them back as he was unhappy they were blaming us and the promotional company for their mistake, only for them to now say they are unable to change the address from the fictious address they have put down! So I am not able to get delivery of my wonderful prize as they say they cannot even admend the address and they do not even admit how useless they have been. :mad:

Anyone else had a problem with Expert Logisitics or have any advice?

    Had similar problem with KnowHow who deliver for Currys and Whirlpool. All blaming each other. My advice is to go to Home Magazine and get them to kick A$$. This should sort things out. Good Luck!

    Well Expert listened in to the original call where I confirmed my address and the employee didnt mention it was different to what she had got down, so they agreed on this occasion to change the address. I got my dishwasher this morning :D

    Thanks for the update, it always puzzles me that a comp winner is often treated with less urgency/importance than a paying customer. If I get bad service then that will put me off that company for the future and I tell people. Glad you got it sorted out!
