Going Bankrupt

OK, things have been coming to a head recently and I have decided to go bankrupt.
Just a question as to current phone contracts, maybe silly really but I'm just feeling my way through....
If I currently have contracts for mobile phones, will these get cancelled?
Thanks

I think if your payments are up to date they don't cancel your contract. Not sure if you're ok to upgrade though. Hope this helps.0

Thanks, thats some relief.

It depends on who your contract is with, O2 will cancel your contract if you go BR.:pB&SC No. 298

I am on 3 and have still got mine the OR said she had no Interest for it.
when it comes es up to renew in april I will see what bappens and I could just keep the phone going till it dies and then pick one up from somewhere.0 -
Went BR during my O2 Contract, told o2 and they kept my contract and even offered me a free upgrade in November (as I was due one).0

I haven't had any problems with my O2 contracts, don't think it's a problem as long as you keep payments up to date.0

I haven't come across anyone who has lost their phone contract if they were up to date with payments. I don't even know if the OR told orange I was BR - they certainly didn't contact me about it and when my contracts came to an end - there was no problem renewing/upgrading despite not being discharged yet.0
