6 years on...

Hi all, I am 6 years post bankrupt and my life has changed considerably. At the time of the b/r I was heavily pregnant and single, when I was discharge 6 months later I did nothing. I didn't clean my file up or anything, soon after I started my training to become a nurse and this just slipped my mind.
Anyway, I am now in a position that I would like a joint account with my fiance and we plan to start saving with Nationwide so we can secure a mortgage with a 5% deposit in the future. I have just checked my credit report and my b/r date is 25/01/2008, satisfied 6th August 2008. There is also another entry with a different address on with the same b/r date but with the satisfaction date as 25/01/2009? Does anyone know why there is 2 entries?
Also, 3 of my 5 creditors that defaulted are still showing as outstanding. One was updated on 12/01/2014 and hasn't been changed to settled, why is this I was discharged surely they would be chasing me for money if they thought I still owed it them? The other 2 haven't been updated since 2008.
Now my questions are:
1. Has anyone got any advice on what I should do regarding the outstanding money and will the one that was updated in 2014 now effect me for a further 6 years?
2. Will me linking my name to my fiance (we get married 1st June 2014) give me bad credit for the future?
3. My credit score is now 795 and says fair, how likely will be that I can obtain a joint bank account with Nationwide? He has fab credit, and I now work as a qualified nurse so can prove a good income.
Thank you in advance for any feedback, and I apologise for the long post.
Jo

The update date doesn't matter. When are the default dates for the accounts on your report?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Your names don't become linked just because you get married - they are only linked when you have joint financial products.
And linking to him is more likely to damage him than you
Personally I would wait until I had a 'clean' credit file before getting a joint account.0 -
What about the others? NONE of them should be later than 25/01/2008.
At this late stage it doesn't really matter whether they are marked as settled or not. They will be completely wiped off you credit report 6 years from the default date, marked settled or not.
Same with the extra bankruptcy entry. 6 years from it's date.
So later this month the bankruptcy entries will disappear. At the same time defaulted accounts should also disappear.
That is apart from one where the defaulted date is wrong, such as the one you have dated 16/05/2008.
You can complain about the wrong default date on that. See: Credit Reference File Clean Up Post BankruptcyFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks, I will sort out the one with the wrong date, wait until the end of the month and make sure I have a clean c/file. So will this happen automatically? I have only looked at experian should I look at other credit files?
I can't quite believe how fast 6 years has gone!0 -
They should drop off automatically. On Experian they should drop off 6 years to the day. On Equifax there can be a delay of a week or 2 before they drop off, and on Callcredit they sometimes even drop off early.
Yes you should check the others to make sure accounts on those are correct.

Fantastic thanks, just need to try and find the account numbers now! They don't seem to be detailed on Experian, I really appreciate the help and advice.0
