beta test possibility of freebies

i signed up to a beta testing group although i think it is america based i can honestly say that they do sent invitations and you could end up testing something like i did i recently tested a games console and got to keep it after testing:j

they are now out and cost round about the 200 quid mark to buy.

both me and someone else off here did it so i wasnt just the only one on here who got to test one. i just got an email to fill out a screener and then next week filled out an acceptence form and was delivered a few days later via dhl

Hi, i have signed up to this but can you tell me,

a) how often do they send invitations

b) How do i know when they have sentsomething

c) what do i do? review it?

its variably and ive had three as they test tonnes of different stuff world wide. i myself have had three invitesd but only applied to do the one i was accepted on. they email you a screener which you fill in and if accepted you sign an online agreement and it will be sent you. you usually haver to participate in the test via a forum as if you had just gone out and bought it. hope that helps. this is what i beta tested http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4361847.stm :j:j

I got to keep my console too! i am well pleased plus we had all the games as well. Its definitely my best freebie too!
I would certainly recommend centrecode. I saw on another forum that someone tested an all in one printer and i've had a couple of invitations to test software and some international conferencing thingamejig.
