Anyone tried one?
Is it any good?
I use a blender for making smoothies etc but I find that nuts & seeds or oats don't really break down, same for the skins on things like grapes. I usually take a smoothie out with me in a lidded drinking mug when I walk the dog but the bits which don't break down get stuck.
Seen the ads for the Nutribullet but don't want to buy another piece of kit which does not live up to is claims.
Thanks

Or can anyone please suggest a decent blender that will do the job but not cost me £000s like the Vitamix etc. cost.
I currently use a Kenwood which is part of a food processor/blender package (same base but two different attachements).
Many thanks.0 -
Hello
I bought the Magic Bullet several years ago and I am still very impressed. I use it for grinding hard slippery shiny flaxseeds - which it does very quickly.
I also use for making smoothies etc.
I can only recommend the one I have tried, similar here

But if the Nutribullet is made by the same folk there may just be a difference in jug volume / noise / marketing strategy etc. Mine is quite noisy but it takes much less than 30 seconds to crush most things including ice, so it's not too bad.
I have never regretted buying mine - something that actually works! :rotfl:

Thanks for your reply. Heard a few people say they thought the Nutribullet was made by the same people as the Magic Bullet.
Its nice to find a gadget which actually works. Bought so many over the years and been left feeling very disapointed.
Think I may treat myself and buy one. If anything its got to be easier to clean than our existing blender!!0 -
I love my nutri bullet. I bought an expensive juicer first, bad decision. The nutribullet is fast and just a little noisy. I bung any fruit and veg in with some water (or coconut water) and its done. I get my 5 a day, and the jug takes seconds to rinse out. Because you use all the skin and fruit, you get all the fibre too.
Hope my view help you.

I love my Nutribullet, I think it is excellent.
I already have a blender but the Nutribullet sales pitch that it breaks down more of the wholefruit so that you don't throw away the fibre really appealed to me. Especially as I am trying to consume less sugar and had got into the habit of buying fruit juice rather than eating whole fruits.
It is £89.99 on Mirror Reader offers at the moment, on a 48 hour deal that was published in the paper yesterday

Oh wants one of these.
Isnt one of the downsides of fruit juice the fact that you are still taking in lots of sugar albeit fruit sugar in one go0
