Job Centre and Payslips

Hi there,
Just need some advice.
I have recently started work and was not paid on time meaning i was not given a payslip as they did not realize the error till i bought it to their attention. I have now been paid.
However, i am still signing on due to the low hours and the job center are now asking for my payslips but cannot produce any.
I have spoken to my employer who keep dragging their heels and fear they will take too long and have my benefit stopped and the DWP will not take bank statements.
Any ideas?
