Quidco - Something Odd With Travelodge!

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem...

I went through Quidco onto the Travelodge site twice, stayed on the site for about 10 seconds each time, entered no information whatsoever (havnt signed up or booked anything) yet 2 items, 1 for £95 and 1 for £55 have been tracked and validated via Quidco, giving me £7.20 in cashback.

Travelodge have not got my current account details, as i never entered them so does anyone know what will happen with this £7.20?? Will it just be declined??

It will most likely be declined, but sometimes they do slip through.

I started an application for Prudential Health Insurance, but didn't complete it. Somehow I still got £115 cashback (but don't tell anyone)!

Travelodge don't need to have your current account details. The cashback that you receive (if any) is paid to you by Quidco. You need to enter your account details on the Quidco site to make sure that you receive any genuine cashback!

With this transaction, it is more than likely that it will change to 'declined' in a few days or weeks, as you haven't actually made a booking with Travelodge. Quidco will only pay you if they receive the commission from Travelodge, which is unlikely (but not impossible!)

Ive had exactly the same thing happen to me!

I browsed the travelodge site last week when I read about the £15/room offer but didnt book anything, or input any credit card info yet my Quidco is now showing 2 amounts of £3.60 validated one for apparent amounts of £100 and £39 respectively, Ive checked all my cards and nothing has been debited by them and Ive had no emails and am not registered with them. I contacted travelodge to tell them being the honest person that i am and was slightly concerned re possible fraud.

Glad im not the only one!! - I havnt been charged on any of my accounts either ....

I've contacted Quidco and asked them to take a look into it. Asked for the money to be either given back to the Travelodge, or if unable to do so - a charity of their choice ---
