My DIL is gutted! her and my son married last august and after a lot of 'kerfuffle' with the wedding photographer, she finally received her album and the disc of photos today.

I could cry too! We (the family all chipped in for the photographer), and THIS is what she got for the £1150.

DIL says this is nothing like the album she was shown except that its black and has crystals on it!
your thoughts please!

Does she have in writing what she was supposed to get?

no steph and when I went on photographers website today - only one album relating to a different wedding package was on there. other photos had been removed.
but my DD was with her and both say the album she was shown was padded with crystals in the corners.

Sorry, I am so upset I am not thinking straight! to save a little time and typing, this is the thread I posted on Consumer Rights back when the photographer began getting 'arsey' with her.

DIL chose this photographer because she is (was) a personal friend of my DD, and she is just getting her business started. she couldn't have been nicer before the wedding - afterwards she didn't want to know! was no help to them and got very verbally abusive. apparently as the photographer she makes all the decisions and the bride and groom just need to admire her work. sorry, but I am so upset and angry.............I could have faffed about with a camera and uploaded to photobox...............and it wouldn't have cost over a 1K!

Did your DIL really only get 60 photographs?

What does the contract say?

hi gadgeteer - Contract? what contract? all DIL has is the receipt which states the package name - the brochure and website doesn't specify the number of photos - and DIL cannot remember what was said at the meeting they had.
But after all the problems DIL had with her I gave DIL and son the money to buy the disc off her. there are a couple of hundred photos on there.
