please note: magazine states closing date is 10th September however online it states 1st October therefore I've taken the earlier date as the end date.

They do say "Please note that we only accept one competition entry per user, per issue for our competitions. Any additional entries will not be counted." So it is unlikely a second entry will be considered.
Before the site changed, the rules actually said ""we will accept only one entry per registered user. If more than one entry for the same issue is received, we will accept the first entry only". as per post 2 of this thread.

As I said, nothing lost if you enter twice there is a chance you could be disqualified, but there is also the same slim chance as normal that you could win
