Free 2 pints milk at Waitrose

Checked at my store again today - nothing. A very nice young man checked for the next delivery which will not be until 21st at 5.30 pm!! He agreed they should have had more delivered as this promotion is running.


Really annoying as was hoping to get some to freeze.

Norwich Bluebell Road had stacks of newspapers at the check-outs.

Have you asked the staff about it?

My nearest Waitrose is quite small, yet they stock this.....
But the shelves has been cleared of the 1% milk every time I went in for several days.
So I ask the staff about the milk and they told me they would be having a delivery the next day at a certain time....
So I made sure the next day I went around the time they had said - and they did wheel out a whole trolley/cage of milk, inc the 1%
I got 2 bottles.

I would not normally have taken more than one, but at another larger Waitrose store they also had been out of the 1%.
When I asked their staff if they had any more they said someone had been in that morning and had 12 !!!!!

I saw someone today in that larger store take 9 through the till with a fist full of vouchers - and another dozen or so free newspapers in their trolley. I don't know if this was the same woman who had had 12 bottles the day before.

These vouchers don't work at the Scottish or Channel Islands stores, just in case no one's seen the fine print. I work in-store and have seen a lot of people forget to check - keep an eye out!
