Working in Malaysia, banking assistance

I have been offered a job in Malaysia, the salary is good and accommodation and food are included so I don't expect to be spending much! However I will want to transfer money back to the UK and need to know the best way to do this. I know I will pay tax in Malaysia but I also believe that I can reclaim this, is this correct?
Also any suggestions on the best bank to use? Any assistance gratefully received.

A book (which never arrived) a Rugby ball (mother of three girls) and a cheque for £50. In 2009 my (one and only) win An Avatar goody bag (thanks to weeowen67) since then nothing. Come on Comping Fairy surely I deserve a little luck?

For tax you need to research double taxation treaties.
The HMRC starting point is here http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxtreaties/dta.htm
A bit of digging found that there is an order in force with Malaysia http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2010/2971/contents/made
As for sending money back, a currency exchange broker is usually the recommended route to minimise the cost.0
