EU Directive working 3 days in last year instead of 5

Has anyone heard of an EU Directive whereby in the last year before retirement instead of working say 5 days a week you can actually go down to 3 days and the Govt will make up the 2 day difference?

Hopefully this one is just a false rumour....anyone who wants to spend their last year in employment working part time should just reduce their hours and fund themselves.0

It would be a nonsensical idea. Whatever you think about EU directives, this isn't going to be one of them.
People do not necessarily know when they are in their last year before retirement - neither do their employers or the government.0 -

Yes. It is being introduced when the government have raised the pension age to 105.0
