Bought a deal from Mighty Deals for an iphone 5 for £235.00 but never received the confirmation or the voucher. The money went out of my bank on the 30/12/13 and I have found it impossible to get any progress. Getting through on the phone is virtually impossible and when I have on a couple of occasions I have just been given the run-around. I have sent countless emails was asked for my full card number and resisted because I felt it was unsecure but in desperation did this but still no response. Have emailed a copy of the bank statement with the evidence but still I am getting nowhere and this is a large amount of money to lose. This is driving me insane I am desperate for a solution.

I too was one of the "lucky" ones to purchase the iphone 5C with Mighty Deals. After inputting my payment details, an error appeared and said the transaction was unsuccessful. I then received a receipted invoice for £235 in my inbox! After numerous emails, they sent me a voucher but with no code. I the sent further emails threatening action and eventually got a code. Apparently I should receive this within 15 days (i.e. by this Saturday) but to be honest I don't think I will get it. I also doubt I will get a refund easily as I paid using my debit card. I don't know how they can get away with such thieving.
Have you tried sending them a message on Facebook? This is how I got a reply.
Let me know how you get on please!0 -
Sorry my crystal ball is unable to tell me whether you will receive the goods before Saturday.sunflowers123 wrote: »I too was one of the "lucky" ones to purchase the iphone 5C with Mighty Deals. Why do you think that you wont get a refund easily if they fail to deliver the goods?
Have a read of MSE's Chargeback article.
If Mighty Deals are acting as some sort of middleman here, you would probably have just as much trouble getting a refund had you paid by credit card.
Bit premature to be talking about thieving, isn't it?0 -

Thanks for your unhelpful reply.
Is it not remotely suspect to receive a message stating the purchase was unsuccessful to then have £235 debited from my account?
Is it right to be ignored after many emails and to only receive a code, just a code, and not the product, after threatening legal action?
If I'd have seen the dozens of threads first about Mighty Deals taking money without supplying the product, I wouldn't have bothered. Frankly, too stressful and time consuming.0 -
I suspected I was not alone since it is impossible to get through to this company on the phone and that is because so many people are phoning up to complain. I for one will not walk away from £235.00 without a fight. They are still offering deals on a daily basis but I am deeply concerned that they are going to disappear with our money.0

Have you had any joy with either a refund or getting the phone?
Surprisingly, mine has yet to turn up. Seriously frustrated as my existing phone is playing up and needs replacing ASAP. Do I go ahead and get another one or keep waiting and hoping this one turns up?!0 -

So you promised delivery by courier and asked whether I would be willing to have my photo taken showing my accepting delivery so that you could post it on your testimonials page! Why would I agree to support your company after all this chasing what is rightfully mine?? I waited all day for delivery and it didn't even turn up!!
This is stealing. How can you get away with this??0 -
