SE Tax help - dates due

I may have slightly confused the issue. What I meant was that you simply could not make a book entry at the end of the year without any previous evidence of the wage having been paid throughout that year. It is not uncommon for a sole trader to reckon that the tax bill is too high and suddenly decide - I'll 'put through' some wife's wages to reduce the profit somewhat. There needs to be some evidence that the wage was actually paid.
So yes, a book entry can be entered into the accounts each week/month which would correspond with the amount paid into your bank account each week/month by your husband. There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who do not. :doh:0 -
That's great - I am looking at working approx 10 hours a week to start but this would increase in about 3 months so I would probably then look at becoming a partnership for the new tax year but for what I need to do next week and onwards that would work.0
