My 2005 mondeo loves it.... no conversion kit.
  • I purchased a few - it's made from 100% rapeseed oil so great price!

The Morrisons I used to live near had a wonderful Asian section selling ultra cheap big bags of spices (East End brand I recall), tinned chick peas, gram flour, ghee, red lentils etc. We didn't live in an area where there was a high demand for these products either! Curry night was very cheap in our house. I really miss the bargains I could get, so next time I'm near a Morrisons I'll have to see what they have. Thanks OP :)

Figures really about the Asian food stock, after all, Morrisons started life as a dented tin stall on Bradford market and probably have connections to stock all the good stuff.

Most 'vegetable' oil is rapeseed oil if you look closely at the ingredients. If it's labelled 'rapeseed oil' the price is higher. Same stuff....rapeseed oil is now considered more healthy than 'vegetable'oil.
  • Got a couple yesterday, ideal for horses!
I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be
  • Why does it come in a tin?

I struggle to use up even half of a 1L bottle before the expiry date, what do you do with a few 4L tins?

Eta: I suppose I could go on a cake-making spree, not the same as butter though.

Make our own Fish and Chips.
saves loads on the take away and you can eat them, having a sister in law who worked in the chip shop and knows the "secret" helped.

Changed firer yesterday, made chips, taste just the same as any other oil.
    Be happy...;)
  • I bet my local mr. m won't have it tomorrow but I will look, thank you OP.
That's cheaper than the normal price per litre and would keep for years.
    Woop woop nice find.

As stated above, some diesel vehicles can run on this stuff. Its a cheap way to fill up the car.
