Interlink express

been working for an agency for a few weeks for a delivery company but recently been told I wont get paid for the hours i did. their excuse was you did not deliver enough parcels. worked 37 hours but they will only pay me for 21 hours it ant right what do you guys think of that? Did my best I am paid hourly I even got attacked by some drunken yob being a courier is not a good job.

  • Not sure about this company in paticular but a friend worked for my hermes and they pay so much per delivered parcel. If this is case perhaps they have only paid agency so much for how many parcels were delivered , agency will take a cut and pass on rest to you. However if you have a contract or anything written saying they are paying you per hour at a set amount i would challenge it and yeah i know what you mean about the job seems a fairly easy job but depends on area - We covered some parcels as this woman was behind and would get out the car and have loads people staring at it like they were waiting to rob you probably more intimidating if you are alone
