...you have clicked submit on a comp form, and then, whilst waiting for the next page to load, you notice you haven't ticked/unticked the box to stop you getting spam. Sigh.

Know that feeling. Usually results in a swear word. And Murphy's Law says it is always a site that is going to share your details with all and sundry...!

Yep, definitely! :mad: Some of them are quite cunningly hidden, too - I'm always grateful to posters who spot a less-than-obvious checkbox and flag it up. :T

Had one the other day that I'd ticked or unticked right, missed a required thing on the form and realised too late that when it reloaded for me to fill that bit in that the tick boxes had reset too. Grrrr

That's one of my pet hates... I find it so sneaky... One I had the other day left the tick I'd put in the Ts and Cs and put back the tick in the 'Yes, go ahead, spam me' box... :mad:

Particularly those ones which refresh when you get a captcha wrong and then auto re-tick the 'I'm gonna spam you' box/es :eek:

Agree! Just as much as I hate when I notice I have filled a form half with my house address and the other half my work address/post code after a long day at work and forgetting what I was doing!

Just got caught out by The LADY page - it has that annoying pop-up box which appears when you're in the middle of completing the form and wipes it out so you have to start again...then I got the captcha wrong, and then I clicked before realising it had re-set their two crafty 'spam me' boxes back to 'yes'
