Is it time to tell my creditors?

so this seems to be the thing that's bugging me most and I know I've posted a similar thread before...
I have now raised enough money to file for Bankruptcy which I hope to be doing at the very end of the month early next month...
I am getting relentless calls from one of my creditors two-three times a day which I am missing due to my phone being on silent... Should I just tell them my plan now or is there something they can do to stop me filing if they find out?

Worse thing you can do is tell them your considering bankruptcy....all that will do is increase the calls....tell them your currently talking to cab/national debtline/stepchange and you'll contact them in due courseNot quite a newbie as you think

I've been doing that and they gave me 30 days (some even more...) so just continue to ignore or answer?0

Ignore them - no point wasting your time or theirs. Good Luck with the BR - its a start of you being in control - not them

Do not mention your intentions to petition for your own bankruptcy to unsecured creditors (like credit card cos, loan cos, councils, utility companies, etc). Otherwise they may chase you for the debts even more vigorously while they have still got time, Instead string them along for a while and then tell then your bankrupt when its done.

Ops going bankrupt in 2-3 weeks. Absolutely nothing they can do in that time, so if they find out then it doesn't really matter.
But I'd recommend ignoring them still
Few weeks in to BR the calls will disappear.0 -
It won't stop them calling.
Mine carried on for a while even after they were made aware of my bankruptcy details.
I'd just carry on ignoring. Then once you have your bankruptcy you can answer and inform.AD March 2014

At this stage there is nothing your creditors can do to stop you going bankrupt, actually they never could stop you, but in theory they could have tried to get a charge over your house if you have one, but this would take much longer than a few weeks.
But there is nothing to be gained by telling them. The chances are they will carry on calling, not magically go quiet. So you have the aggravation of speaking to them and it won't improve things.
So don't waste your time and energy by speaking to them0
