Strange text from 'Katie'

Hi,
I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place, so I apologise if I am not.
I have just received a text saying;
"Hi ******, it's Katie from PLF. I have your loan results ready. Log in at PLFinder.co.uk using Ref ******* to get your loan. reply STOP to cancel"
The number is 0700281836, to which I have replied STOP as the message told me to. I tried ringing the number to question whoever answered but it rang three times then went to answerphone.
I have not been looking at loans recently and after googling the company it appears they are a scam company.
Has anyone else had anything like this and should I be worried? Will my personal details be compromised, has someone tried to apply for a loan in my name or am I over-reacting? Is there anyone I can complain to about this?
Sorry for all the questions but I have never had anything like this before and now my brain is doing overtime!

Ignore it, do not reply to any more texts and do not call them.
Don't worry about it.0 -
Thanks Meer, I was a victim of identity fraud a few years ago so I think that's why it's made me panic a bit, thanks for replyingCurrent Debt - Credit Card £3231.14; Hire Purchase £4,555; Catalogue £562.60, Loan £4754.880

0700xxxxxxxx numbers are not regular mobile numbers and usually incur a higher charge when called.0

Clear and obvious scam0

An 0700 2 number is a premium rate number, charged by BT at their pn2 rate. Price for the calls is 51p per minute. The numbers after 0700 determine what the charge is going to be, not 0700 itself.0
