Hi all,

Posted here because I know lots of fellow survey takers frequent this section and don't think this is a technical fault as such that can be fixed via advice.

I recently treat myself to a new lappy on which I use Windows 8.1 a system which I like and am impressed with otherwise. My browser is IE 11.

I am finding that I am having various problems such as pages not fully loading or error messages meaning I am unable to progress fully through some surveys.

This isn't perculuar to one survey site in particular.

To give a specific example I earlier tried to complete a survey where the Male or female choice question didn't load fully so I couldn't make a choice and couldn't progress.Subsequently I returned to the email invite and tried again this time using the website compatability tool.Again this didn't work and only managed to get to the same part of the questionnaire which didn't fully load.

At this point I fired up my other computer running Windows 7 and IE 11,returned to the survey and completed it without problem.

Anyone else having such problems?

    Hi,

I recently upgraded to 8.1 from 8, to be honest I'm not seeing any more issues than I did with 8 (although some do crop up from time to time).

That said, I'm using Chrome for if Firefox doesn't help then try Chrome... At least then we'll likely be in the same boat :)

  • I think it's the latest version of Internet Explorer that is causing the problems. I have two laptops, one running Windows 7 and one running Windows 8.1, and both have developed problems with loads of sites (including surveys) since IE automatically updated. I just switch to Google Chrome for any sites I'm having problems with - not an ideal solution, but it seems to work.
