I will give this a try, I didnt think they gave much away. They did give my son a bath bomb once, but that may be because I told them their stuff is the only 'fancy' thing I can put in his bath which won't aggravate his eczema. Lucky I spose that he'd rather have a treat from lush than go to mc d's

I adore LUSH stuff - went to get some more Tramp and they gave me a sample of Skin Drink and Celestial. I suffer from rosacea and the Skin Drink is the only thing that I've tried that has really helped - so now I've got to go & buy a pot! but it's worth it.coffeebean0

It can vary from shop to shop, but on the whole, as long as you ask nicely and in a "I really fancy some X but I'm not sure which to go for, can you give me a sample?" Thney will be delighted to help.
There are endlss questions on the LUSH forum about it, and the staff all say that providing they are able to sample it (not so easy with the dusting powders, for example) and you're not being too cheeky, they'll gladly help out.0 -
Thanks for the tip. I went in yesterday and stood by the moisturisers looking indecisive and came away with two free samples!

They don't have them on general display. Best thing to do is to show an interest in a product and say things like 'Haven't you got any smaller sizes?'. They might then offer to give you a free sample.
Worked for me.

You should get 10% off Highland Lass

They don't have any on display - they decant them for you. Or get soap/solid shampoo/deodorant bars whatever from a big bin behind the counter.0 -
I went into the new one in Inverness the other day Highland Lass, it was mobbed wasn't it. I got a couple of things for a birthday present for a friend and then went in again today and bought a few little things for myself. They smell lovely, the American Dream conditioner, Firefox shower gel and a little gingerbread man. I like the little playdoh type soaps at the door, smell like parma violets or something, but everything smells really nice and you just want to pile it all in the basket. Took a dab of the Gorgeous cream, smells really nice.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0
