Work programme

Is anyone on the work programme, and had to go in for a group session, as I've been asked or I mean told by my advisor to go in tomorrow to meet with a company called quicksilver, and was told I will have a group session and then a 1-1, not to sure about it all, if any one can help with experience of this would be a great help.

Has anyone been in and had group sessions for jobs? If so what does it involve?

My jobcentre adviser told me you can refuse a group sessions, you can request a one2one meeting, not sure if that's the same with them all,as I was worried too, so when they rang to make the appointment with me I asked them about it, they said it was not the type of thing where you had to stand up and introduce yourself and roleplay, he really reasured me, so I agreed on a group insteat of one to one and it was as he said, no talking if you didn't want too.

Maybe ask if you are allowed to refuse if it's a group thing, or get details whats invovled.

I enjoyed it to be honest, the types of people on these things can be so funny.

edit, think I misunderstood your question, think you are meaning for an interview? oh well :rotfl:

We'll have only been told today, very brief info, it's a job, and was told it would be a group session, then I think a 1-1 with the people that are giving out the jobs, told to dress smart, so I suppose kind if interview process, unsure of what happens? Thanks for your advice.

don't worry about it, just laugh a lot and be dead friendly, sound slike they are looking for team players, people that get on with others, remeber every one there will be like you, just treat it as a bit of a joke, I do as when you see the staff that work at these types of places you wonder how did they ever get the job as they are so miserable,.

I think too many people think they are Lord Sugar these days :rotfl:
