What else do I need to take?

I'm going to the courts on Friday and have completed both BR forms, have my tenancy agreement and also EX160 and proof re JSA and HB. Is there anything else I need to take other the cash for the OR? Also, will they tell my landlord? I in private rented and have been here for 5.5 yrs not in arrears - I don't want my LL to evict me...

Have they asked for bank statements? You could call the court directly and ask them if there's anything else they would suggest.
Re tenancy; does your tenancy agreement mention if you need to let the landlord know about BR? If not, then just request the OR not contact your landlord as you could face eviction. If you're not in rent arrears then hopefully this won't be an issue.
I did not specifically ask them not to, and I don't seem to have had any contact from the letting agents or landlord so not sure that they routinely contact them anyway?
Worth remembering though that going bankrupt is public information so it's not something you can hide; if someone wants to check, then the insolvency register is available for all to search if they want.
Hope it all goes OK

If OP's landlord has a bankruptcy forfeiture clause in the agreement, I would expect there's also a requirement in there to inform landlord of any such bankruptcy. I would be surprised if this were an issue here though.
Landlord is obviously happy to take in HB claimant,s so I would not expect them to be bothered about a bankruptcy order that will affect neither them nor the property that OP rents.
Very true emlarbs about the insolvency register - it does have to be searched by name though, so no one is going to randomly "stumble across" this bankruptcy!
Good luck OP

Hi
3 copies of all your BR forms (2 for court and 1 for you)
Bank statements etc are usually given to the OR (I doubt the judge wants them) who will contact you for the paperwork after you are BR, - its just an admin process with a chance you will talk to the judge briefly if they have any questions.
Then just take useful stuff like:
tissues, a pen that works, change for the coffee machine or a bottle of water, sweets or gum, paper or magazine to while away your time in the waiting room
Hope it all goes well. 0 -
Thank you for your advice. When I moved in here 5.5 yrs ago I wasn't on HB, this is a recent and I hope short situation. I have been an excellent tenant and have never been in arrears - I have a great relationship with my LL so I think he would probably be OK as long as I continue to pay the rent...0
