Following with interest. I recently got a dehumidifier but someone at work told me their vet had told them not to use one if there are pets in the house. Does anyone else know anything about this? I don't want to put my cat's health at risk.0

We have a damp porch and leave the humidifier in here next to a stack of logs. It helps dry the logs out at the same time ready for the log burner!0

We use it quite a lot when it rains. I would also recommend opening windows every day to help with the mould.0

I use mine when the relative humidity gets above about 65%.
I move it from room to room, but usually put it in the bedroom in the morning and rotate around the other rooms the rest of the time.0
