Stretching a jar of sauce

Options
Sometimes I like to stretch a jar of sauce for two different meals, I will use a couple of spoons of tomato pasta sauce to go on top of HM pizza and then the next day use the rest of the jar on pasta.
With curry sauce a couple of spoons can be mixed with veg for a pasty filling, and the next day the rest of the jar goes into making a curry.
Does anyone else have meal ideas where i can use a bit of a jar over two days to stretch it further?

Sorry, can't help you with this as I don't buy jars of sauces. I always make my own. Is there a reason you can't do this?

I find they taste better and cost much less so a double whammy!

Add a can of chopped tomatoes or even beans, you'll get more from the sauce and can change things up depending on what you've chosen.

Personally I don't much see the point to be honest as whatever you add to the jarred sauce you could simply use to make something else anyway but it's certainly how I increase the jar amount if I need to for lazy Duden large gatherings.

I agree and I feel happier knowing what's gone into the sauce (so can watch fat and sugar content). But each to his own.;)
